TechStars: which is a part of President Obama's Startup America program, provides venture capital funding and mentorship to early-stage companies. TruantToday is the first — and only — company founded by students to be a part of the TechStars program, and has the youngest CEO of any company in the program's history.
TruantToday won the Clinton Global Initiative's startup competition, and was voted "most likely to succeed" of the four startups invited to compete. The Clinton Global Initiative is a yearly conference, run by the Clinton Foundation, that recruits participants to make a commitment to change the world.
TruantToday was voted "teacher's choice" at the NBC Education Nation conference's startup competition. Education Nation is NBC's yearly focus on educational issues in America and innovative solutions for those issues.
TruantToday and Microsoft have partnered as a part of Microsoft's Student 360 program, ensuring that every student will have the opportunity to learn.
